We want to say a huge thank you to Pat Walker, one of our lovely volunteers, who raised an amazing £595 for Careline during her 70th birthday party instead of receiving gifts. We are extremely grateful to Pat for choosing Careline and for continuing to support us as well as her friends and family for being so generous.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Spring Coffee Morning and also to those who bought raffle tickets and donated items for our raffle and stalls. We had a great time and raised a fabulous £507!! Thank you!!

We held our Christmas Coffee Morning last Wednesday, our first since 2019! We had Christmas carols, sung by the amazing Ashbourne Singers, Santa and lots of local artisan stalls, including On A Wick And A Prayer Candles, EstherMarie Beauty, Betty’s Sewing Box, Niki Jane Hughes and Rosedale Floral Design. Thank you to our volunteers and everyone who came by for a sing-song and a mince pie – it was lovely to see you.

We did it!

Six of us walked the 8-mile loop of Carsington Reservoir yesterday morning. The weather was much better than last year, it started out foggy but then cleared and we had a pleasant temperature for walking.
